LMEC Branch of AAUW has engaged in “equity for all” efforts since the 1950s. AAUW empowers women & girls by advocating for more women in leadership positions, closing the gender pay gap, & preventing sexual harassment & discrimination. We support girls entering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) careers. We use research, education & advocacy at the national, state & local levels to accomplish our goals.
