AAUW La Mesa-El Cajon, CA Foundation
In 2005, the AAUW La Mesa-El Cajon CA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established to receive tax-deductible donations. The donations fund local scholarships and other educational programs sponsored by the AAUW La Mesa-El Cajon Branch. The Foundation even has its own webpage. Donations to AAUW Fund (National)
“AAUW Fund” was established in 1881 to provide scholarships and grants to women for higher education. AAUW Fund also supports AAUW’s programs and activities, such as Start Smart, Tech Savvy, Legal Advocacy Fund (LAF), and AAUW Advocacy. Your donation is tax deductible.
By Mail: Mail your check payable to “AAUW Fund” to LMEC Branch’s AAUW Fund VP.

Tech Trek (local)
Tech Trek funds a one-week camp of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) classes and projects for middle-school girls via a 501(c)(3) AAUW California program. Your donation is tax deductible.
Make your check payable to “AAUW CA SPF” (Special Projects Fund) and write “USD Camp Tech Trek LM-EC Branch” on memo line. Send check to LMEC Branch’s Finance Officer.
Donations for LMEC Branch Operations
Donations pay for directory, insurance, Forecast, meetings, and various branch business and activities. Your donation is not tax deductible.
